The Voices of Famous Atheists on Atheism
What world's famous people have to say on Atheism

Atheism is a belief system that rejects the existence of gods or deities, rooted in skepticism towards religious doctrines. It emphasizes rationality, science, and empirical evidence over faith or supernatural claims. Atheists maintain that the burden of proof lies with those asserting the existence of a deity. This philosophy has spurred debates on morality, purpose, and the nature of existence. While diverse, atheists often share a common pursuit of ethical frameworks based on humanism and reason, emphasizing critical thinking and the pursuit of knowledge without reliance on religious dogma. Here is what some of the world's most famous Atheists say - Richard Dawkins: "Faith is the great cop-out, the great excuse to evade the need to think and evaluate evidence. Faith is belief in spite of, even perhaps because of, the lack of evidence." Christopher Hitchens: "What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence." Carl Sagan: "The cosmos is all that is or ever was or ever will be." Sam Harris: "The only problem with Islamic fundamentalism are the fundamentals of Islam." Bertrand Russell: "I do not pretend to be able to prove that there is no God. I equally cannot prove that Satan is a fiction. The Christian God may exist; so may the gods of Olympus, or of ancient Egypt, or of Babylon. But no one of these hypotheses is more probable than any other: they lie outside the region of even probable knowledge, and therefore there is no reason to consider any of them." Friedrich Nietzsche: "Is man merely a mistake of God's? Or God merely a mistake of man's?" Ricky Gervais: "The dictionary definition of God is 'a supernatural creator and overseer of the universe.' Included in this definition are all deities, goddesses, and supernatural beings. Since the beginning of recorded history, which is defined by the invention of writing by the Sumerians around 6000 years ago, historians have cataloged over 3700 supernatural beings, of which 2870 can be considered deities." These quotes reflect a range of perspectives on atheism, skepticism towards faith-based beliefs, and the emphasis on evidence, reason, and critical thinking in shaping one's worldview.

The Legend of Dhruva: Turning Insult into Power
There are moments in life when a single insult pierces deeper than any sword. For the young prince Dhruva, it came not from an enemy, but from within his own palace—from his stepmother Suruchi. Her words were sharp, deliberate, and dismissive: “You have no right to sit on your father’s lap. Only my son shall be king. If you desire such honor, pray to Lord Vishnu that you are born as my son in your next life.” That insult, cruel and calculated, became the fire that forged a legend.

Shiva: From 'I' to 'We' – The Journey Beyond Self
In the silence between two heartbeats, in the stillness behind a thought, in the breath that forgets itself—He resides. He is the most disorganised chaos and the most organised order.
