DONGFENG 007 is transforming the EV landscape in the UAE

The UAE’s electric vehicle revolution is accelerating, and at the heart of it stands the DONGFENG 007 — a striking new model redefining what it means to drive electric. Brought to the region by Mahy Khoory Automotive, this cutting-edge EV blends futuristic styling, advanced engineering, and remarkable efficiency, ushering in a new era of sustainable mobility for drivers across the Emirates.

Unveiled at EVIS Abu Dhabi 2026, the Middle East’s leading summit for electric vehicle innovation, the DONGFENG 007 showcases the next level of intelligent design and performance. Its sleek contours and aerodynamic build are matched by powerful hybrid technology that integrates an advanced electric motor with a 1.5-litre gasoline-assisted engine. The result? A smooth, responsive driving experience that delivers both power and endurance in equal measure.

Behind the wheel, drivers can expect a seamless balance of innovation and practicality. The DONGFENG 007 produces 218 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100km/h in just 7.2 seconds—impressive for an electric crossover designed with comfort and efficiency in mind. Yet the true standout feature is its extraordinary range of up to 1,200km on a single charge, redefining long-distance electric travel in the UAE and beyond.

According to Saj Jabbar, General Manager of Mahy Khoory Automotive, the exclusive distributor of Dongfeng Motor Corporation in the UAE, “The DONGFENG 007 represents a perfect fusion of innovation, performance, and environmental responsibility. It’s designed for forward-thinking individuals who want to embrace the future of driving.”

In celebration of the launch, Mahy Khoory Automotive is offering customers a limited-time special package that makes owning the DONGFENG 007 even more appealing. The offer includes 0% interest, free insurance, three years or 60,000km of complimentary servicing, and six years of roadside assistance, with payment plans starting in 2026—an unprecedented deal for the UAE’s fast-growing EV market.
